Surgical management of the atrophic edentulous mandible fracture is one
of the most challenging types of mandible fractures to
treat. This case report reviews some of the challenges involved in
management of this category of mandible fracture. Observations
and recommendations are made with regards to treatment, and the
potential importance of discussing treatment goals with the
patient are outlined.
